Secret Garden Styled Shoot
Eeep!!! So excited to see our shoot featured on The Wedding Playbook
This was the first shoot that I coordinated and I must say I had such an amazing time putting it all together and getting some of Perth's best talent and vendors.
My inspiration for the shoot was dark and moody but I always wanted a "Secret Garden" feel! And I thought I literally had to go find a secret garden to achieve it until I accidentally stumbled across The Stables in the Perth CBD! It is amazing how different a venue looks with no people inside it and Stables was no short of magical and beautifully designed with lots of lush greenery growing off the walls positioned against dark wood features.
I think weddings are a true representation of a Bride's style and every little detail counts. Lucky I had on board one of the most talented and creative stylists I Heart Table Art . Leah spared no detail in making this moody and sexy set up perfect!
Florals play a major part in any wedding and Addison & Bloom brought the goods to the table with a big sexy center piece and a bridal bouquet to make any girl lust over! These deep rich berry tones sat perfectly against the gold cutlery, invitations and the girls dresses! Ooh lala!
One of my favourite event hire companies is Event Artillery, their sexy and modern pieces will add an element of difference to your event. Natalie who owns Event Artillery chooses nothing but quality items to add to her collection. The black high line stools for the table set up fit perfectly in our shoot and the design allows you to see what is going on the table! The Napoleon Bar was my fave on her site and I knew I had to have it! Something really cool that brides are doing is having a bar set up for outdoor ceremonies and I think it is a great way of adding a statement piece to your wedding.
Happily Ever After....How beautiful does that sound! I actually hired my L O V E Letters for my own wedding back in April 2015 and I loved dealing with the original owner Dani! Love Letters brightens any wedding and I really wanted something from them to add to this shoot and I knew their newly added Happily Ever After was going to look beautiful in this venue! Also a special thanks to Love Letters and Dani for giving me the RJ for a few photos!
Some of my favourite details from this shoot were the stationary and Cake/Desserts. Stationary really represents a persons true personality, Paper Fusion never disappoint with their attention to detail and quality of paper they use. The cake and dessert were such a sexy feature to the Napoleon Bar. The white and gold cake was divine from The Garnished Co as well as the gorgeous macaroon dessert from Le Petit Macaron! So beautifully created!
As for my gorgeous models Mel Barnard, Emily Biondillo and Monique Morley how amazing did each and every one of them look in their gorgeous gowns by The Higher Boutique! Thank you girls you were a dream to work with! If you need a dress for your next event this is the place to go with such a large range of styles, brands and colours! I love seeing bridesmaids in sexy silhouettes! I think your girls should special and sexy on your day too!
Last but not least my beautiful friend Hatem or also known as Hair by Hatem! We were so excited for hair and makeup we always work together through our clients so we always have a great time! When I told Hatem the theme and feel of the shoot he was excited. I didn't have to provide any direction his creative juices flowed and we created something magical with the girls. Each girl has a unique makeup and hair look. We wanted to display variety! As creatives we always have the flexibility to create something unique and magical for our clients and this was no exception!
Thank you so much to all our vendors (tagged through out this blog post) but a very very SPECIAL and heart felt thank you to Hannah our amazing photographer for capturing this beautiful day and being so selfless and helpful! She made the day run so smooth and captured hundreds of amazing images for all of us to use and share with the world. Hannah you are truly one talented and gifted soul.
